Arsenal continues with their poor display to the New year with another defeat to Championship side Nottingham Forest in their first match of FA Cup on Sunday afternoon following the New year defeat at Etihad.

The Gunners who have the highest record of most FA Cup trophy had suffered a dent in their quest for the hunt, with an 83rd minutes goal from Lewis Grabban, which is what is needed by the championship side to progress to the fourth round of the competition.

Arsenal fell to a deserved 1-0 defeat away at Nottingham Forest on Sunday evening to eliminate the Gunners in the FA Cup third round for only the second time in a quarter of a decade.

With their elimination, Arsenal will now be looking forward to the Carabao Cup, so as not to end the season with a drought.

Tottenham returns to winning way against Morecambe after Chelsea defeat, Liverpool seals a comfortable victory against Shrewsbury Town to progress into the fourth round.
