The United Nations assembly has come up with a resolution asking Russia to put a stop to its invasion of Ukraine immediately.
The order was favorably voted by 141 countries that are UN members, therefore, reaffirming Ukrainian sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
As revealed by UN news reports, the resolutions demand Russia to “immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders”
The demand was sponsored by 90 countries and required majority support in the national assembly to pass. Five countries such as; Belarus, North Korea, Russia, and Syria all voted against the demand while 35 others were restricted from participating in the voting exercise.
