Guinea: Protesters clashes with the security personnel following their demonstration against the military government

The decision of the opposition party to stage a demonstration against the military government of Guinea has lead to a serious chaos between the protesters and the military.

The protest which was held at the capital city of the country, Conakry was Carried out by young people in the country to express their displeasure on the rigid governmance of the military government in the country.

Unfortunately, the protest which had started peaceful turned to chaos when the protesters hurdled stone at the military personnel.

In retaliation to the protesters ill actions towards them, the military retaliated by dispersing teargas at the people.

In order to curb the brewing chaos in the city of Conakry, thousands of policemen has been deployed to the capital city while the main markets in the city are all shut down as traders and business owners are scared of possible violence.

The National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC), a combination of political parties, labor unions, and civil society organizations, had organized demonstrations that were to be shut down by the junta earlier this month.
