The National electoral board of Ethiopia has criticized the house arrest of the chairman of the opposition Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), Dawud Ibsa.
According to the electoral board, Dawud has been placed under house arrest since May 2021. The board headed by Midekssa penned a letter to the Federal Police Commission and National Information and Security Services (NISS) confirming the house arrest of the opposition leader and as well criticized the arrest and said, it is unacceptable under any legal ground.
