Former Vice President, Alh Atiku Abubakar had deleted a post made on his official social media accounts about the gruesome killing of a young lady by the name Deborah in Sokoto.
The delete of the post came after a rigorous attack on the former vice president for his inability to condemn such an act which was perpetrated by the teeming youth of Shehu Shagari College of Education on the basis of religious blasphemy.
The statement read “There can not be a justification for such gruesome murder. Deborah Yakubu was murdered, and all those behind her death must be brought to justice, My condolences to her family and friends.”
After making the post, attacks a troll on the presidential hopeful for his inability to condemn the act perpetrated under the guise of religion, with many comments taking a stain on his presidential ambition and making him delete the post.
Ms. Yakubu Deborah was murdered and lynched by her colleagues for abuse of the Holy Prophet of Islam, while those present at the scene claimed responsibility for the dreadful act.
Atiku Abubakar who is a public figure and once the second citizen of this great country was expected to criticize the attack but rather, his post came otherwise which led to an attack on his image which made him delete the post
