Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation and Presidential aspirant under the ruling progressive party APC stormed Lagos state on Thursday in what is seen as a show of support for his presidential ambition.

During his visit, the Hon Minister of Transportation paid excursions to key stakeholders in the state, including the governor’s residence in Marina, the party secretariat, and the palace of the Oba of Lagos, for consultations and additional support in becoming the party’s flag-bearer in the forthcoming primary election.

Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu expressed his worry for the Hon Minister and wished him well in his presidential bid during a visit to the governor’s house in the Marina, but he also reminded him that the Lagos votes are for Asiwaju.

According to the governor, he said, he was a beneficiary of the exemplary leadership qualities of Asiwaju, and that Lagos state vote are only for Tinubu, he also pleaded to the Minister not to take his remarks as a saboteur but that Nigeria still remains indivisible irrespective of political allegiance and ethnic loyalty.

He also commends the Minister as a capacitated aspirant and wishes him well in his quest for support.
