Unstable weather in Egypt lead to the suspension of schools in five Governorates

The Ministry of Health and Population had announced that 13 citizens lost their lives as a result of the unstable weather.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Mr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, revealed that a man had died in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate after he was electrocuted in a light pole, while a micro burg accident also occurred on the eastern desert road which led to the death of a citizen and left 11 injured.

He added that Minya governorate experienced a collision between two vehicles which also led to citizen injured while a person died in Alexandria after a building collapsed

The spokesperson for the ministry of health, Abdul Gaffer stressed the availability of a sufficient strategic stock of medicines, medical supplies and vaccines against snakes or scorpion bites in all hospitals and health units all the country

Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned that places in Cairo, Suez Canal cities and South Upper Egypt will witness light rain on Saturday

Egypt’s holding company for water and wastewater revealed an emergency on Friday throughout the governorates that were affected by the current bad weather conditions The EMA added that the weather will lean to cold from the north of the country till north upper Egypt and warmer in south Sinai and south upper Egypt.
